I have a 2001 Savage and put a Supertrapp muffler on it. Sounds great but increased the backfire. I know where the idle adjustment screw is and how to get at it but where is the "White Spacer" everyone talks about removing to be found. I found an article about removing the diaphram slide from the carb. and look inside the bore and there will be a plate with 2 screws, when the plate is removed there is the white spacer.
QUESTION: What does the diaphram slide look like? I don't have a clue right now but I'm sure when I get an answer I'll kick myself.
